Heather Axworthy

Heather Axworthy currently serves as Vice President of Technology and Security at the National Hockey League (NHL) since March 2024 and as a Technical Advisor for bowmo, Inc., specializing in AI and cybersecurity. Previous roles include Cyber Security Expert at Rubrik, Inc., and Field-CISO at Nutanix, where Axworthy was recognized as a top cybersecurity authority for the northeastern US and Canada. Additional experience includes positions at Palo Alto Networks, ePlus inc., Booz Allen Hamilton, Zensar Technologies, Natixis Global Associates International, and the University of Massachusetts, where Axworthy focused on security engineering and consulting. Continuous professional development includes studies at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Master’s degree in Global Management from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
