Emma Holroyd

Emma Holroyd is an experienced professional in the field of psychology, currently serving as an Assistant Psychologist at NHS Lanarkshire since March 2024 and as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at NHS 24 since July 2023. Emma previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Strathclyde from September 2022 to June 2023 and volunteered with FIRSTHAND LOTHIAN from May 2021 to May 2023, providing support in addictions. Additional volunteer experience includes a role as a Befriender with Rowan Alba Limited from March 2021 to April 2023 and a student volunteer position with the Nightline Association from February 2020 to February 2022. Emma holds an MSc in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Strathclyde, expected to complete in November 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Edinburgh, awarded in 2022. Emma’s educational background began at Albyn School, where studies were completed from August 2012 to May 2018.
