Jon Goodwin

Jon Goodwin currently serves as the Head of Grants at NHS Charities Together since July 2023. Previously, Jon held the position of Head of Grant Programmes at Newcastle Hospitals Charity from September 2021 to July 2023. Jon's extensive experience also includes a role as Senior Philanthropy Advisor at the Community Foundation serving Tyne & Wear and Northumberland from April 2015 to August 2021 and Executive Director at Synergy VCS Consortium between August 2013 and March 2015. Prior positions include Pentagon Partnership Coordinator and Projects and Partnerships Manager at North Tyneside VODA, Trustee at East End Community Development Alliance, Communications Officer at Leeds Media Centre, and Administration Officer at Leeds City Council. Jon earned a degree in Media and Cultural Theory from Leeds Beckett University between 1998 and 2001, having attended Gosforth High School from 1993 to 1998.
