Engin Karabudak has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their undergraduate studies at Bilkent University in 1998. engin then went on to receive an MSc from Sabanci University in 2004, followed by a PhD from the Max-Planck Institute for Colloids in 2006. In 2009, they held a Transfer of Technology to BASF position, and was also a Biosolar Cell Postdoctoral Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Twente, MCS Group. In 2012, they were a One Week Visitor at the Technical University of Denmark, and a Visitor Collaborator at the California Institute of Technology in 2013. From 2014 to 2020, they were an Assoc. Prof. Dr. and Asst. Prof. Dr. at the \u0130zmir Institute of Technology, and also held a CEO & Cofounder position at SiZ+ Incubator from 2015 to 2020. Finally, they are currently the CEO & Co-Founder of ni-cat.

Engin Karabudak attended Golcuk Anadolu Lisesi from 1991 to 1998, where they completed their high school education.
