Program Engineer at ni2o

Karthik Kaundinya began their work experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Diekman Lab in January 2018 and continued until September 2019. In October 2019, they co-founded Muse Biomedical as part of the i4 competition held by the joint UNC/NC State department of Biomedical Engineering. Karthik'srole at Muse Biomedical focuses on reversing the alarming rise of opioid abuse in the U.S. In August 2020, Karthik became a Cohort 14 Member at Launch Chapel Hill, where they continued their work with Muse Biomedical until December 2020. In April 2020, they also worked as a Research and Design Intern at ni2o. Starting in July 2021, Karthik took on the role of Program Engineer at ni2o.

Karthik Kaundinya began their education in 2015 at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, where they pursued an unspecified field of study. In 2017, they enrolled in multiple institutions simultaneously. Karthik attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering. Additionally, they also studied at North Carolina State University as part of a joint program with UNC Chapel Hill, earning another Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Furthermore, during this time, they enrolled at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and completed coursework towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Distinction and Honors. Karthik's educational journey concluded in 2021.
