Kareem Hagazi is an experienced educator and media professional with a diverse background in science teaching and community relations. Currently serving as the Founding Science Teacher at Design Works High School within the NYC Department of Education since July 2010, Kareem has also taken on roles such as BRT Leader and New Teacher Mentor. In addition, contributions to the NYC Department of Education include positions as a Special Education Teacher and a Webmaster, alongside impactful work as a paraprofessional focusing on crisis intervention for disadvantaged and special needs children. Since September 2019, Kareem has been a Media Teacher at NIA Community Services Network, delivering audio and visual productions courses. Other roles include Head Soccer Coach, Customer Relationship Management Specialist at The Brighter Side Studios, Community Relations Manager at Wafa House, and Producer & Host of "The Bridge," a bilingual Arab American talk show. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Bank Street College of Education and a Master of Education in Special Education from Pace University.
