Eric John

Eric John is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in corporate and incident response security roles. As a Senior Security Engineer at Niantic, Inc. since October 2019, Eric focuses on internal network segmentation, securing endpoints across various platforms, and enhancing remote access through zero trust principles. Prior to this, Eric served as a Senior Consultant at CrowdStrike, aiding clients in recovering from digital attacks, and held similar roles at MZ and Google, where responsibilities included incident response and digital forensics. Earlier career experiences at SecureWorks involved real-time network monitoring and threat analysis. Eric holds a BS in Information Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.
