Maryam Sabour

Maryam Sabour is a Senior Director of Business Development at Niantic, Inc., where leadership involves driving strategic partnerships to foster organization-wide growth. Maryam has held several leadership roles within Niantic, including overseeing business development for Platform products and leading the development of augmented reality headset strategies under Project Vera. As the founder of XR Portal, Maryam established the largest database of 'AR/VR For Good' content for educational and non-profit use. Additionally, Maryam serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Compass Startup & Legal Clinic, assisting entrepreneurs through pro bono services. Previous roles include serving as an emerging technology consultant, evaluating investment opportunities at Propeller Venture Capital, and fostering connections between McGill University and Silicon Valley. Maryam holds multiple degrees, including a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Law from the Ted Rogers School of Management, and is a graduate of Western University in Global Management.
