Melissa Austin

Melissa Austin is an accomplished Senior Manager of Technical Art at Niantic, Inc., overseeing a talented team of 12 Technical Artists on Pokémon GO, focusing on creating engaging player experiences and collaborating on long-term strategic planning. Prior to this role, Melissa served at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Technical Art Manager, leading a community content team for Amazon Lumberyard, and held positions such as Senior Field Technical Artist and Technical Artist within the Amazon Game Studios. Early in the career, Melissa worked at various companies including Petroglyph Games and DMatrix Inc., contributing expertise in areas such as rigging, art pipeline organization, and asset creation.
