Tom Mikrut serves as General Counsel at the National Industries for the Blind since April 2018, previously holding the position of Assistant General Counsel. Prior to this role, Tom Mikrut was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Second Judicial District for the State of Utah, where responsibilities included advising judges, drafting legal rulings, and researching statutory law. Experience also includes serving as General Counsel for the Illinois Department of Central Management Services and Deputy General Counsel in the Office of Governor Pat Quinn, managing legal affairs across multiple state agencies. Earlier legal experience includes working as an Associate at Foley & Lardner LLP, where various commercial litigation matters were handled. Tom Mikrut holds an M.B.A. from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business, a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, and a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
