Ian Sargeant

Ian Sargeant is an experienced professional in the fields of partnerships and strategy, currently serving as the National Manager for Group, Partnerships & Strategy at nib New Zealand since July 2018. In this executive role, Ian focuses on growing a profitable group health and life portfolio while ensuring exceptional service to adviser partners and fostering distribution partnerships. Prior to nib New Zealand, Ian held various leadership positions at Paralympics New Zealand, where significant achievements included enhancing commercial income and managing partner relationships in alignment with the Spirit of Gold® Initiative. Ian's career also includes sales and account management roles at IMG, particularly at Wembley Stadium, and a project management position at Mrs Christmas Ltd. Ian holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Physical Education from the University of Otago.
