Heikki Cantell is the General Counsel at NIB since 2007. Prior to that, Heikki served as the General Counsel at Council of Europe Development Bank from 1995 to 2007. Before that, Heikki worked at Heikki Haapaniemi Law Offices as an Attorney At Law from 1987 to 1995. Heikki holds a degree in LLM from University of Helsinki and attended Harvard Business School and Université de Paris II for post-graduate studies in Commercial Law and an Advanced Management Program respectively.
