Maurits Huijsmans

Maurits Huijsmans has worked primarily in investment management roles throughout their career. Maurits started as an Investment Analyst at Rotterdam Port Fund in May 2017 and then moved on to become an Investment Manager in April 2020. Maurits stayed with the company until August 2021.

After leaving Rotterdam Port Fund, Maurits joined NIBC Investment Partners as an Investment Manager in September 2021. Their role there involved providing minority equity to Dutch SME companies and real estate development projects. Maurits remained in this position until March 2023.

Currently, Maurits is working at NIBC Bank as Vice President Strategic Capital Release. In this role, they are responsible for phasing out non-recurring portfolios of the Corporate Bank, specifically focusing on asset-backed financing. Maurits collaborates closely with clients in managing direct and indirect equity and mezzanine investments.

Maurits Huijsmans holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management from Delft University of Technology. Maurits is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, obtained from the CFA Institute in 2022.
