Qasim Niazi

Qasim Niazi has a diverse work experience in the field of research and veterinary medicine. Qasim is currently working as a Researcher at the NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Researcher at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences from May 2021 to December 2022. Qasim also held the position of a PhD Fellow (TargetPellet Project) at the same university from November 2016 to May 2021. In addition, they have worked as a Veterinarian (Internee) at Sweetwater Dairies Pakistan Pvt Ltd from February 2010 to June 2010, where they gained experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine.

Qasim Niazi's education history begins with their attendance at PAF Inter College Mianwali from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained their FSc (Pre-medical) degree with a focus on biology, chemistry, and physics. Qasim then pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences from 2004 to 2010, earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. During this time, their studies included veterinary medicine, animal nutrition, and livestock management. After completing their DVM, Qasim Niazi went on to pursue a Master's Degree at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) from 2011 to 2014. Qasim'sspecialization during this period was in feed manufacturing technology.
