Alex M.

Alex M. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, programming, and design. Serving as the Head of R&D at nic.at GmbH since August 2002, Alex is also a Co-Founder of timatio since January 2008 and has founded dive.io - Your Scuba Network. Previous entrepreneurial ventures include founding xm.my, operational from September 2009 to June 2016, and roles at IETF as a working group co-chair from June 2008 to April 2016. Early career experience includes positions as a Senior Systems Engineer at KPNQwest from 2000 to 2002 and as a Systems Engineer at EUnet GmbH from 1996 to 2000. Alex holds an Ing. degree in Communications Engineering from the University of Technology Vienna, completed between 1994 and 1996, and attended HTL Schellinggasse from 1988 to 1993.
