Shakil Sajawal

Shakil Sajawal has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Shakil currently holds the position of Group IT Director at NIC Services Group Ltd, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of IT at Teconnex Group Ltd from 2018 to 2023, where they had a senior leadership role responsible for global IT infrastructure, software, and operations. Shakil was also involved in the growth of the company by spearheading a growth-focused Global IT Service.

Before that, Shakil worked as an Interim Head of Technical Services for various companies from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they provided technical leadership and guidance to senior stakeholders on a contract basis, analyzing requirements and delivering tangible improvement.

From 2014 to 2017, Shakil served as the Head of Information Technology at J & C Joel Group. In this senior role, they oversaw all aspects of the company's IT systems and played a key role in achieving business growth goals, following ITIL best practices.

Prior to that, Shakil worked at Experian from 2007 to 2014 in various roles including Systems Engineer/Project Manager and Information Technology Systems Engineer. Shakil provided support for credit risk applications and led technical teams in datacentre migrations and consolidations.

Shakil's work experience started at Greenhead High School, where they worked as an Information Technology Technician from 2005 to 2007.

Shakil Sajawal holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Bradford. In 2015, they obtained a certification in ITIL V3 Foundation from Axelos. Shakil also has additional certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 First Look and Agile Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn, obtained in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
