Ken MacBain

Ken MacBain, FSA, SPHR, currently serves as a Volunteer Staff member at Nicaragua Christian Academy International since August 2021. Previously, Ken held the position of Associate Finance Director at Esperanza Health Center from March 2018 to January 2021, where the organization focuses on providing holistic healthcare to Latino and underserved communities in eastern North Philadelphia. Ken's extensive experience also includes serving as Executive Director at LOGAN Hope from September 2000 to June 2017, where the mission centered on providing rigorous education to underresourced students. Ken has held various actuarial roles, such as Benefits Specialist at Cardone Industries and positions at Esperanza Health Center, Milliman, Johnson Companies, and Penn Mutual. Academically, Ken holds an MBA in Actuarial Science from Fox School of Business at Temple University, a MABS from Dallas Theological Seminary, and both a BBA and an AA in Actuarial Science from Fox School of Business and Bucks County Community College, respectively.
