Daniel Borgia is an accomplished academic and administrator with extensive experience in finance and international business education. Currently serving as Provost at Nichols College since April 2022, Borgia previously held the position of Dean at Bryant University, Zhuhai China Campus from July 2017 to March 2022. With a strong background in finance, Borgia has served as Dean and Professor of Finance at Canisius College and Associate Dean at the University of Idaho and Nottingham University Business School China. Borgia's teaching experience includes a role as Professor at the International Summer University Program at Copenhagen Business School. Additionally, Borgia co-founded and directed the Southwest Florida Chinese Language School and has held leadership roles in community organizations such as the Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida and the Southwest Florida Chinese Association. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Finance and International Business from Kent State University, an MBA from Gannon University, and a B.S. in Business from Cornell University.
