Alex Brand

Alex Brand is an experienced product and UX designer currently working as an Independent Contractor at Nickels, where contributions include designing user experience and product features for financial wellness products and providing marketing design support. Prior roles include a Design Intern focused on consumer financial wellness, a Web Design and Accessibility Instructional Aid at the University of Michigan, and Community Partnerships Lead at optiMize, where Alex developed programs for transfer students. Additional experience encompasses web content management at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a summer internship at Nickels centered on UX/UI and user research. Alex holds a Bachelor of Information in User Experience Design from the University of Michigan and an Associate degree in Web Development - Interface Design from Washtenaw Community College.
