Matthew A. Love is the current President & CEO at Nicklaus Children’s Health System. Prior to their current position, Love served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Mercy Health from February 2012 to September 2018. Mercy Health is Ohio's largest health system with locations and patients in Ohio and Kentucky. There are seven regional areas within the company, which employs 1,300 physicians in its medical group and has an extensive post acute network. In their role at Mercy Health, Love provided strategic and operational support to the system CFO, system COO, system CCO, regional presidents, and their senior teams with a focus on enhancing integration between system services and markets.

Before joining Mercy Health, Love was the Vice President Strategy, Business Planning, & Operations at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital from August 2008 to February 2012. LeBonheur Children's Hospital is the 255 bed Children's Hospital of Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare and is the academic pediatric partner of the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine. While at LeBonheur, Love held roles of increasing responsibility including starting as Vice President Strategy before adding operational responsibility for several clinical departments and eventually becoming the Executive Director for the Pediatric Practice Plan.

Matthew A. Love has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Cleveland State University. Matthew is also certified from the American College of Healthcare Executives in FACHE.
