Tomasz M. Rutkowski is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, and creativity. Currently serving as a Research and Development Scientist at the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project since July 2018, Tomasz focuses on AI applications for dementia prevention and human intelligence augmentation. Additionally, Tomasz holds research fellow positions at Nicolaus Copernicus University and The University of Tokyo, where contributions include teaching and research in creativity and neurotechnology. Previous roles include adjunct research fellow at Menzies Health Institute Queensland, research scientist at Cogent Labs, and assistant professor at the University of Tsukuba, covering diverse areas such as brain-computer interfaces, EEG hyperscanning, and multisensory neuroscience.
