Breanna Bowman is a dedicated professional currently serving as an eTMF Intern at Nicox since October 2023, where responsibilities include managing clinical trial documentation and collaborating with the clinical research team. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the UNC Biology Department, Breanna instructs over 100 students in essential biology research skills. Previous experience includes a Summer Research Assistant role with UNC Health Infection Prevention, conducting UV dye testing, and a position at LymeTV focused on researching alpha-gal sensitivity and Coronary Artery Disease while developing a social media campaign. Breanna has also worked as a Patient Care Assistant at CareYaya, a Research Assistant at the IDEEL Lab at UNC Chapel Hill, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Li Lab, contributing to research on CRISPR gene therapy for cystic fibrosis. Additional experience includes an internship at Foundation Medicine in molecular lab operations. Breanna holds a Master of Public Health in Applied Epidemiology from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
