Benoit Ferrané

Benoit Ferrané currently serves as the Aeronautical and Innovation Programs Manager at Nidec Leroy-Somer since January 2022, overseeing the development of electric motors for hydrogen fuel cell propulsion systems as part of the Airbus ZEROe Concept Aircraft and European Clean Aviation research programs. Prior to this, Benoit held the position of Technical & Innovation Director at SOGECLAIR Aerospace from September 2018 to December 2021, contributing to R&D and innovation within an executive capacity. Benoit's extensive experience includes roles at Spirit AeroSystems, Assystem, INBIS France, Hamilton Sundstrand, and AIRWAVE GLIDERS, focusing on aerostructures, systems design, and engineering management across various aircraft programs. Benoit possesses advanced degrees in Polymer & Composite Engineering, Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, and Mechanical Design.
