Vice President Human Resources, Americas at Nidec Leroy-Somer

Teresa Webster has extensive work experience in human resources, holding various roles throughout their career. Teresa started in 1984 as a Human Resources Manager at Justin Industries, Nocona Boot Company. Teresa then moved on to Gainesville Foundry in 1990, where they served as the Director of Human Resources and Environmental Safety & Health. Teresa later became a Board of Directors member and Corporate Secretary at Gainesville Foundry, Inc. In 1998, they joined Emerson Industrial Automation, taking on roles such as Manager of Human Resources and Environmental Safety & Health. Teresa also served as the Director of Human Resources for Fisher-Latin America and the Director of Human Resources for Marshalltown Manufacturing Operations. In 2013, they became the Vice President of Human Resources for Leroy Somer EPG Americas at Emerson. Teresa then transitioned to becoming the Vice President of Human Resources for the Americas region at Leroy Somer. In 2017, Teresa continued their career at Nidec Motor Corporation, holding the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Leroy Somer, Americas.

Teresa Webster received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Personnel and Industrial Relations from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 1982 to 1984. Prior to that, they attended Tyler Junior College from 1980 to 1981, although they did not obtain a degree during that time. Teresa then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Conflict Management & Dispute Resolution at Southern Methodist University from 2001 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in April 2015 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in June 1993.
