Matt Nielsen

Matt Nielsen has a diverse work experience. Matt started their career in 1994 as a Manager at Nielsen-Massey Vanillas. Matt then held various roles at the company, including Vice President of Operations and Executive/Owner, responsible for all operations and international retail sales. In 2018, they became a Director at Graziano Brothers Inc. and also took on the role of Managing Director at Nielsen-Massey Vanillas International LLC and Nielsen Real Estate BV. In 2022, they became the Interim Managing Director at Nielsen-Massey Vanillas. Matt has also served as a Board Member at the Montessori School of Lake Forest, a Family Business Student Mentor at the John L. Ward Center for Family Enterprises, and a Treasurer Board of Directors at the SPECIALTY FOOD FOUNDATION. Additionally, they have been the Vice President - Treasurer of the Nielsen-Massey Foundation. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Director at The French Pastry School.

Matt Nielsen has a diverse education history. Matt started their education at Deerfield High School in 1986. Matt then attended Wayland Academy from 1987 to 1990. In 1990, they enrolled in Gettysburg College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Management in 1994.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Matt Nielsen pursued further education. In 2018, they attended Kellogg Executive Education and obtained a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Organizational Leadership. Matt also returned to Kellogg Executive Education at an unspecified start year and is currently pursuing a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Executive Management, expected to be completed in 2021.
