Caleb Sponheim

Caleb Sponheim is a User Experience Specialist at Nielsen Norman Group since July 2023, following a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Chicago, where significant accomplishments included securing a $300k Department of Defense fellowship and developing a human brain-machine interface. Prior to this, Caleb served as a scientific consultant, delivering research reports that led to the adoption of cannabidiol-based treatments, and held various research and design roles, including at the National Institute of Mental Health and Grinnell AppDev. Educational background includes a Bachelor's in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Grinnell College and participation in multiple research projects, enhancing expertise in user experience and scientific analysis.
