Matt Brown is a User Experience Specialist at Nielsen Norman Group since May 2022, teaching global UX courses on usability testing and research methodologies while leading UX research consulting projects. Prior experience includes serving as the Lead Product UX Researcher at UserZoom, where responsibilities included owning research for product areas and reporting results to senior executives. At Marketade, Matt held multiple roles, advancing from UX Researcher to Director of User Experience, managing research operations and project resourcing. Earlier roles involved online community management and social media strategy within nonprofit organizations. Matt holds an MSc in Digital Anthropology from UCL and a BA in Anthropology, Biology, Music, and Theater from the University of Vermont.
