Joshua Ivan Friedman

Joshua Ivan Friedman is an accomplished data science and AI professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as VP Data Science at Nielsen since August 2022. Prior to this position, Joshua held the title of Principal AI Scientist at Ordaos Bio and progressed through multiple senior data science roles at Nielsen from 2016 to 2021. Joshua began their data science journey as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science and also contributed to the United States Department of Defense as an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow. Educational achievements include a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from New York University, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Computational Biology from the University of Washington, and a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University.
