Valentina Miller

Interactive Designer at Night Kitchen Interactive

Valentina Miller is an Interactive Designer at Night Kitchen Interactive with expertise in project management, animation, immersive media, videography, and interactive storytelling. She is enthusiastic about enriching spaces with playful and meaningful digital interactions. As production lead, she oversees the lifecycle of digital projects from conceptualization to installation.

Valentina’s research background allows her to design thoughtful, engaging interactives at Night Kitchen. She has recently spoken at AASLH, the American Association of State and Local History conference, about topics including media design for social emotional learning (2021) and in-gallery augmented reality applications (2019). She has given presentations about the educational potential of immersive media at EDULEARN, an Education and New Learning Technologies conference (Barcelona, 2016), Tech It Out, a Women in Cable Telecommunications Conference (Villanova, 2016); and ACM SIGGRAPH, the world’s foremost annual gathering of computer graphics and interactive technology professionals (Los Angeles, 2017).

Valentina earned a Master of Science in Digital Media from Drexel University in 2016, where she currently teaches as an adjunct instructor and has designed several new VR production courses.
