Danny Mays is an experienced procurement and operations professional currently serving as the Assistant State Court Administrator of Operations for the Maryland Judiciary, a role held since December 2020. In this position, Danny oversees directors of several operational departments and provides strategic leadership on judicial processes. Previously, Danny served as the Director of Procurement, Contract & Grant Administration at the Maryland Department of General Services, managing a team of procurement professionals. Additional roles include Associate Director of Procurement at Towson University and Procurement and Contract Manager at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Danny also brings experience as an instructor with NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement and as an in-game entertainment coordinator with Ripken Baseball. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate of Arts from Anne Arundel Community College.
