Abhay Y. Ghate

Abhay holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune and a Master’s degree in Technology specializing in Production Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He has close to twenty five years of experience in the IT industry covering complete spectrum of activities in Software Development. Besides, he has special skills in Project Management, Requirement Engineering and Software Development Methodologies.

Abhay is Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Nihilent. He is responsible for ensuring continuous enhancement in the technical competence of Nihilent and the alignment to market needs in addition to assuring deployment of a technical infrastructure in delivery management. Abhay has executed technology intensive projects for customer’s like Dimension Data, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft Corporation, Delphi, Information Business Solution, Scottish Life Assurance Company, Nedbank, Capital Bank, Tandem Computers, Cyanides and Chemicals in various countries including USA, UK, Germany, Australia and South Africa.
