Kevin Kurtz

Kevin Kurtz is a seasoned children's author and educator with a career spanning over fifteen years, specializing in writing children's books focused on science and nature. Since May 2007, Kevin has provided live and virtual educational programs to schools, bridging the gap between nonfiction writing processes and scientific subjects. As an education consultant for various organizations, including the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and ECORD, Kevin develops educational materials and delivers presentations about significant scientific research initiatives. With a strong background in curriculum writing, Kevin has created instructional materials for corporate clients and has actively participated in educational outreach on research vessels. Kevin holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University at Buffalo.
