Carla Terhell

Carla Terhell serves as the Directeur Woondiensten at Nijestee since March 2015, overseeing one of Groningen's largest housing corporations, which manages approximately 13,000 homes. Carla holds positions on the Raad van Toezicht for Biblionet Drenthe since January 2020 and previously for MJD Groningen from January 2014 to March 2015. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Drenthe College from May 2001 to March 2015 in various educational leadership roles, focusing on workforce readiness and skills development for individuals at the lower end of the labor market. Carla also contributed to community initiatives as a bestuurslid at Stichting Stiel, participated in governance at the SOS Telefonische Hulpdienst, and worked as a manager at CBB, facilitating training for people distanced from the labor market. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in General Management from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor's degree in Human and Labor Studies from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
