Lauren McGuigan

Lauren McGuigan has extensive experience in sports performance and science, currently serving as Director of Performance Services at Nike Sport Research Lab since March 2021, after a tenure as Lead in the same department. Prior to Nike, McGuigan worked as Director of Sports Science for the Charlotte Hornets and gained experience as a Performance Science Futures Intern with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Additional roles include Sport Scientist with the U.S. Soccer Federation and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Washington. McGuigan is pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Human Performance and Innovation at the University of Limerick and holds a Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport from the University of Technology Sydney.
