Sharon Ashford

Sharon Ashford is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of Digital Operations Support at Nike since June 2016. In this role, Sharon sets the global direction for End User Compute across all Nike Enterprise locations, focusing on seamless support encompassing various technical areas. Prior to Nike, Sharon held senior positions at Newmont Mining Corporation as IT Director of Global Service Delivery and Freeport - McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., where responsibilities included managing global IT service delivery operations and service level performance. Sharon began her career at Phelps Dodge Mining Co., progressing from IT Technician to IT Supervisor, and has a strong foundation in education with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Arizona University and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Eastern Arizona College.
