Jose Castro

Jose Castro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, business ownership, and language interpretation. Currently serving as a Sales Consultant at Schewel Furniture Co., Inc. since January 2017, Jose has also been an Independent Business Owner with Amway and Fragrance By Geovanny since 2013 and 2012, respectively. Simultaneously, Jose has provided English and Spanish interpretation services for Commonwealth Catholic Charities and Niki's Int'l Ltd. since 2014 and 2012. Additionally, a long-term engagement as an Interpreter/Translator for local law enforcement agencies, including the Martinsville Police Department, Virginia State Police, and Henry County Sheriff's Office, has been maintained since 2008. Other previous roles include Operations at Yono's Japanese Restaurant and an Optometric Technician at Friedrichs Family Eye Center. Jose holds a High School Diploma from Bassett High School and has pursued studies at Patrick Henry Community College.
