Akshay Khadse

Akshay Khadse is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in thermal systems development and testing. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Nikola Corporation since February 2022, Akshay previously held the position of Senior Engineer in Thermal Testing and Validation. Prior to joining Nikola, Akshay worked at the University of Central Florida from August 2015 to February 2022, where roles included Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy Research, Graduate Research Assistant focusing on advanced cooling techniques and optimization projects, as well as Graduate Teaching Assistant for thermodynamics and turbine-related courses. Akshay holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and both M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
