Alessandro Polacco

Alessandro Polacco currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Board Member for Nikon SLM Solutions in Italy, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Alessandro held multiple senior engineering positions at Dana Incorporated from January 2019 to October 2022, including Head of Global Engineering for both Dana Motion Systems and Industrial Transmissions. Alessandro's earlier experience includes roles at Rolls-Royce and GE Oil & Gas, where responsibilities spanned from Assistant Chief Design Engineer to Technology Development Leader. Alessandro began the professional journey at Avio Aero, serving as both Technical Lead and Design Engineer. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Università di Pisa.
