Karim Yassa has a comprehensive work experience in the IT industry. Karim started their career at Orange Business Services in 2006 as the Head of PSM NAM, where they led and managed a team supporting multiple high-profile accounts. In 2019, Karim became the Director of Customer Service at Orange Business Services, where they played a crucial role in bridging gaps between WAN, LAN, and UC towers and resolving hurdles within Incident, Problem, and Change management. Additionally, they coached and mentored IT Service Delivery managers globally to achieve excellent results. Prior to joining Orange Business Services, Karim worked at Acuative as an IT Service Delivery Manager, managing a multi-million dollar account and handling various project implementations and network operations. Karim also held managerial roles at Orange Business Services, where they managed and led multi-million dollar network operations for large IT outsourcing deals. Overall, Karim Yassa has gained extensive experience in service delivery, leadership, and project management in the IT industry.

Karim Yassa completed their high school education at Manor House School - Dokki from 1996 to 1998, with a focus on mathematics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) between 1999 and 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Karim Yassa has obtained several certifications in the field of IT service management. In December 2008, they obtained the ITIL Foundation V3 certification from EXIN. Karim also holds various ITIL certifications from APMG International, including ITIL Service Operation in September 2011, ITIL Service Design in April 2012, ITIL Continual Service Improvement in October 2012, and ITIL Service Strategy in March 2013. Moreover, they obtained the ITIL Service Transition certification from EXIN in September 2013.

Karim Yassa further expanded their expertise by completing the Cisco Certificate Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco Networking Academy in August 2006. Their most recent certification is ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition, which they obtained from PeopleCert in June 2021.
