Bruce Zhang is the current Head of R&D at NIKYANG Enterprise Limited. Bruce has also worked as a teacher of science at Han Academy and as a postdoc at Shanghai Research Institute of Chemical Industry and East China University of Science and Technology.
Bruce Zhang's work revolves around mass spectrometry and its various applications. At The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, they worked on developing the HDX-MS method to probe protein structure. Bruce also worked on ambient ionization mass spectrometry, analyzing the prohibited drugs and their metabolites in body fluids, traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) authentication, and edible oil authentication.
At Han Academy, Bruce Zhang taught IGCSE curriculums (science, chemistry and ICT) for students in year 1 to year 11. Bruce was also a home teacher of year 7 students and had experiences applying IB certification for IBDP chemistry (SL & HL) curriculum.

Bruce Zhang received their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University. Bruce then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical biology from Peking University.
