Wicher Malten

Wicher Malten has held a variety of positions in the field of cryptography research. In 2022, they began working as a Cryptography Research Engineer at Nillion. In 2020, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, supervised by Prof. Balázs Szendrői and Prof. Kevin McGerty. In 2019, they were a Visiting Researcher at both the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford, invited by Prof. Balázs Szendrői. Finally, in 2007, they were a Summer Intern at TomTom.

Wicher Malten attended the University of Amsterdam from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics between 2007 and 2010. Wicher then visited the University of California, Berkeley in 2011 and 2012. Finally, they attended the University of Cambridge from 2012 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Advanced Study and PhD in Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics.
