Jared Petrie

Jared Petrie is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software tooling and validation within the robotics and automation sectors. Currently serving as Director of Software Tooling and Validation at Nimble Robotics, Jared oversees a team of 20 engineers, focusing on IT, InfoSec, CI/CD, and robotics diagnostics. Previously as Head of Software Validation at Zipline, Jared constructed a team dedicated to embedded software and developed processes to enhance software release efficiency. At Zoox, as Manager of Firmware Validation, Jared led a diverse team in creating automated testing frameworks to improve firmware quality. Jared's career began at Tesla, where roles progressed from Senior Test Engineer to Manager of Firmware Engineering. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
