Emily Florine

Emily Florine has a solid work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Emily currently holds the position of Director of Project Management at Nimbus Therapeutics. Prior to that, they worked at Cyclerion as an Associate Director of Program Management and later as a Senior Program Manager. Emily also served as a Senior Program Manager at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals. Emily has also worked at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist and a Scientist. Before joining the industry, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Tulane University. Emily also worked as a Tissue Engineering Intern at the Oregon Medical Laser Center.

Emily Florine completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University from 2003 to 2007. Emily later pursued their PhD in Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, in 2005, they briefly attended Arizona State University to study Biomedical Engineering, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from there.
