Leo Tsai

Leo Tsai has extensive experience in the field of biomedical research. Leo is currently employed as a Senior Scientist (Program lead) at Nine Square Therapeutics, where they lead the biology program for neurodegenerative disease drug discovery. Leo'sresponsibilities include constructing an iPSC derived neurons platform for drug candidate validation across programs.

Prior to their current role, Leo worked at the University of California, San Francisco, where they held the position of Research Specialist II from July 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they served as a Research Specialist I from May 2017 to June 2020.

Leo also gained research experience at Stanford University, starting as a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2012 to January 2016. Leo then worked as a Research Assistant from February 2016 to May 2017.
