Rebecca Haagsma has extensive experience in the media and telecommunications industry. Rebecca is currently working as the Chief Product Officer at Nine, where they are responsible for driving audience numbers and revenue outcomes. Prior to that, Rebecca worked at Domain and Future Women as a Non Executive Director. Rebecca also held various executive roles at Telstra, including Executive - Strategic Partners and Devices and Director of Product Innovation & Customer Experience, Sport & Entertainment. Additionally, Rebecca has served as a Non Executive Director at IAB and 2realise, a charity that supports young people's mental and emotional resilience. Earlier in their career, they worked at Nine Entertainment Co., ninemsn, ACP Magazines, and Catch. Overall, Rebecca has demonstrated expertise in product development, team leadership, strategic partnerships, and digital transformation.
Rebecca Haagsma attended Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2018, where they studied Strategic Leadership. From 1988 to 1993, they pursued their Master of Arts (MA) in Political Science at UNSW. Currently, they are enrolled in the Australian Institute of Company Directors, planning to obtain a Graduate degree in the Company Directors Course.
