Roland Janssens

Roland Janssens has extensive experience in project finance and corporate finance, currently serving as Managing Director at Ninety One since August 2007, where responsibilities include leading and executing infrastructure financings and participation in the management team for the Emerging Africa & Asia Infrastructure Fund. Prior roles include Principal at Ermgassen & Co., Director and Owner of Janssens Consulting Ltd., and Senior Banker at EBRD, specializing in project and corporate finance in Russia and Central Europe. Earlier career positions include Vice President at Ermgassen & Co., Senior Associate at Merrill Lynch, and Assistant Vice President at Citigroup, with a foundational experience as a Financial Analyst at The Seagram Company Ltd. and Finance Manager during university studies. Roland Janssens holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Licentiate of Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp.
