Eric Smith, CPA, MBA has a comprehensive work experience in various accounting roles. Eric is currently working as an Accounting Manager at NinjaTrader Group, LLC, where they collaborate with the VP of Finance and other stakeholders to develop and implement efficient accounting practices. Prior to this, Eric worked as an Accounting Manager at Brightstar Corp., where they managed and developed staff in accounting and financial analysis, ensured timely and accurate month-end reconciliations, and prepared variance analyses for senior management. Eric also served in multiple roles at Alloya Corporate FCU, including Assistant Vice President & Controller, Manager of Accounting Operations, and GL Quality Control Specialist. Eric's earlier work experience includes serving as the Director of Accounting at the Illinois State Medical Society.

Eric Smith, CPA, MBA has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, with a minor in Religion from Augustana College. Eric also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business.

Eric has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which they received from The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) in May 1999. Eric also holds the Series 27 - Financial and Operations Principal (FINOPS) certification, granted by FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in January 2004. Additionally, they have certifications in AED and CPR.
