Cara Jacobs is a highly experienced Project Environmental Scientist at Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants, where responsibilities include conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, subsurface investigations, and developing project-specific Health and Safety Plans. With a comprehensive background in soil and groundwater monitoring, regulatory compliance, and project management, Cara also has expertise in construction dewatering and conducting surveys for threatened and endangered species. Previous roles include Senior Staff Environmental Scientist and Staff Environmental Scientist, along with experience as a Media/Research Intern at Environment Texas and a Backcountry Ranger Intern at the Student Conservation Association. Cara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Resource and Environmental Studies from Texas State University.
