Larisa Ganea

Larisa Ganea is a scientific research assistant and safeguard officer at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH) since September 2018. Previously, Larisa completed a research internship focused on brachytherapy and radiotherapy at the Institutul Oncologic Prof. Doctor Alexandru Trestioreanu from March 2015 to October 2016. Larisa is currently pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Physics at the University of Bucharest, expected to complete in January 2024, after earning a Master's degree in Nuclear Physics (2016-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics (2013-2016) from the same institution. Additionally, Larisa obtained a Bacalaureat in Natural Sciences from Colegiul Naţional de Informatică Matei Basarab in 2013.
