Md.shafiul Alam

Md. Shafiul Alam possesses extensive experience in urban development and civil engineering, currently serving as the Deputy Team Leader for the Urban Development & City Governance Project at Nippon Koei Bangladesh Ltd., with prior roles including Senior Drainage Engineer at DevConsultants Limited and Deputy Team Lead for various infrastructure projects funded by JICA. Md. Shafiul has led multiple projects focused on drainage and flood control, including the construction of cyclone shelters for coastal districts and the preparation of master plans for municipalities. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, complemented by early education at Notre Dame College and Motijheel Central Government School.
